About
Personal Statement:
My name is Benjamin Malley, I was born in America and I am 39 years of age. I graduated from the University of Arizona where I specialized in Philosophy, Political Science, International Relations, and Education. In 1993 I left America to live in Australia for a year, and then New Zealand for seven years. In New Zealand I worked as an educator and artist .
I met my wife Elke there. In 2002 we decided to move to America to be closer to our families (America and Germany). For the last seven years we lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico and now have relocated to Delray Beach, Florida.
Training and education at the Hypnotherapy Academy of America:
Benjamin Malley is a Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, as well as a NeuroLinguistic Programming Practitioner.
He is certified by the Board of the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners (A.C.H.E. #109-047). The American Council of Hypnotist Examiners is the world’s largest and most esteemed hypnotherapy certification board.
Benjamin completed his studies at the prestigious Hypnotherapy Academy of America. There, he had the honor of studying Hypnotherapy in the tradition of one of the founding fathers of modern hypnotherapy – Gil Boyne, founder and Executive Director of the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners.
The state licensed Hypnotherapy Academy of America is, by reputation, the top school in the United States of America for Hypnotherapy training and, one of the top three in the world – with programs that are incredibly proficient and, technically accurate in delivering understanding of the clients’ issues and, the safe and effective use of Hypnotism as a transformational tool, using hypnosis and meditation to unlock the vast potential of the individual to uncover their truest potential and happiness. During the intense nine week accreditation program, Benjamin’s education and training included 550 classroom hours and 40 hours of practicum and research each week.
Benjamin studied directly with Tim Simmerman, the Executive Director and lead instructor at the Hypnotherapy Academy of America, and the president of the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners. Tim, a former nationally registered paramedic contributed to the reprint of “Hypnosis – A Tool for Medical Professionals”, and recently published his book, “Medical Hypnotherapy: Principles and Methods of Practice”, an instructional manual and field guide for hypnotherapists, physicians, nurses, hospice workers, social workers, counselors and dentists.
Beyond the Hypnotherapist 350 hour certification course that required students to successfully pass the certification exams, Benjamin elected to take additional courses in Clinical Hypnotherapy for Accelerated Healing and Pain Control, Natal Regression and Past Life Regression.
Benjamin’s training Clinical Hypnotherapy included working with Dr. Robert Sapien, MD, CCHt who has been in Medicine for 19 years and is the Director of the Emergency Pediatric Medicine at the University Hospital in Albuquerque (NM, USA). Here, Benjamin deepened his skills by learning and practicing hypnotherapeutic psycho-neurophysiology techniques – using the mind for pain erasure and accelerated healing. He honed his skills in creating personal, customized medical scripts to assist clients in using their mind power to overcome health challenges. These scripts are tailored to client’s specific individual needs so that they can effectively use hypnosis and hypnotherapy as an adjunct to their healthcare treatments.
Note: It is standard practice that clients with, known, medical conditions will be required to provide, written, approval from their medical practitioner(s) prior to any work in Hypnosis.
Additionally, Benjamin’s skills include applying the principles of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) as taught by Marshall Rosenberg, author of the book “Nonviolent Communication – A Language of Life”. Benjamin learned personally with Dr. Rosenberg at the 2008 International Intensive Training (IIT) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The IIT was a nine day residential workshop led by a team of experienced CNVC certified trainers, including Marshall Rosenberg the founder of NVC. Benjamin incorporates the principles of Nonviolent Communication in his profession.
